Clouds- Glorious Clouds are Earth’s Icing on the Cake, Heavenly Meringues, Floating Islands- Angelic Desserts- Glorious Gifts from God which make us pause, cause us to marvel and contemplate what lies ahead. If such beauty exists here, what glories must lie beyond? When we raise our earthbound eyes heavenward, Glorious Clouds lift our spirits and nourish our souls beyond the bounds of Earth.

Thank you so much. I really ought to post a gallery page on our Flowers for Socrates blog. As a long-time pilot, with both instrument and glider ratings, I once considered using “Cloud Dancer” as an online username.
There is nothing more awe inspiring than to fly between towering columns of clouds, seeing rainbows where no one else can see them, and watching a sunrise or sunset play games of light on the clouds below and beside me.
I have a very large aviation art print by noted aviation artist Barrie A.F. Clark hanging on my office wall. It is a WW2 British Spitfire flying through a hole in the clouds. That picture always takes me spinning down the memory hole, reminding me, “I have done that, and seen that.”
I am humbled when I think how few people in the world have had that experience.
